By creating an account or using MyFishingBuds ("the Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. You must be 18 years of age or older to use the Platform.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information and keep it current. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You may not create accounts on behalf of others or operate multiple accounts.
You agree to use the Platform lawfully and in accordance with our Community Rules. You may not use the Platform to harass others, share illegal content, impersonate others, violate third-party rights, or engage in any activity that could harm other users or the Platform.
Fishing and boating carry inherent risks. MyFishingBuds provides tools to help you plan outings safely but does not guarantee your safety. You are solely responsible for your safety and the safety of any guests on trips you organize. Always file a float plan before heading out.
You retain ownership of content you post (photos, messages, trip details). By posting content, you grant MyFishingBuds a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content on the Platform. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.
Premium features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. Refunds are handled in accordance with applicable law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of user profiles, ratings, or fishing reports. We are not responsible for the conduct of any user on or off the Platform.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyFishingBuds shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to physical injury, property damage, or losses incurred during trips arranged through the Platform.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or our Community Rules. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
