Gives lures maximum action — the loop lets the lure swing freely instead of being pinched tight
Tie a loose overhand knot in the line about 10 inches from the end
Thread the tag end through the lure eye, then back through the overhand knot
Wrap the tag end around the main line 5-6 times
Pass the tag end back through the overhand knot in the same direction as before
Wet and tighten by pulling the main line while holding the loop at the desired size
