Rigging a drop shot — the hook must hang horizontally perpendicular to the line, not at an angle
Thread 18 inches of line through the hook eye from the front
Tie a Palomar knot: double the line back through the eye, tie an overhand knot, pass hook through loop
Before tightening, pass the hook point through the loop at the top of the overhand knot
Wet and tighten — the hook should ride perpendicular to the line
Attach a drop shot weight to the long tag end below the knot
